Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group has upped Christopher Floyd from director of business affairs to VP of business affairs, the company announced Wednesday. He will report to Disney Pictures’ senior VP of business and legal affairs Phillip Muhl.
“Chris is a first-rate business affairs executive with excellent skills as a negotiator,” Muhl said in a statement. “Over the past four years he has played an increasingly important role on our business and legal affairs team.”
Floyd joined Disney in 1993 as an attorney in the legal affairs department. Before that, he was an attorney with the Los Angeles-based law firm of Hill, Wynne, Troop & Meisinger.
