Exec Shuffle

Showtime Networks has bumped Frank Pintauro to senior VP and senior creative director of creative services, and named Dan Bragg VP and senior creative director, on-air promotion, of creative services. Pintauro, who joined the premium cabler in 1989, moves up from his creative services programming veepee post. Bragg comes to Showtime from an exec producer slot at L.A.-based 3 Ring Circus.

Susan Tully has been named VP of finance & administration at Mercury Records. She’ll handle all financial ops at the label, its joint ventures and associated labels. Tully joins from Polygram Holding.

Bill Niles has been named executive VP of business development and general counsel at Pop. He’ll offer legal insight and biz guidance for the digital studio, and plans to set up a pro bono service for Pop employees concerning personal legal matters.

Field Entertainment has upped Jeff Meyer to sales VP. Moving up from his sponsorship and strategic alliances director’s post, Meyer will handle ticket sales and promotions for all Field Entertainment domestic engagements. The company handles Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, and Walt Disney’s World on Ice.

Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group has bumped Jerry Ketcham to VP, motion picture production. He’ll oversee all aspects of physical production for pics produced under the company’s various banners. Ketcham joined Disney in 1994.

John Reid has been tapped chairman of Polygram Group Canada. He’ll oversee all national operations for the company, including the group’s pop, classical and jazz labels. Reid most recently was president of A&M/Island/Motown Records of Canada.

Romy Kaufman has joined Universal Pictures as executive story editor. She’ll oversee U’s story department, working with the creative group in reading and evaluating material. Kaufman comes to U from TriStar, where she was a story editor.

House of Blues Entertainment has tapped John Portelli G.M. for House of Blues-Orlando, set to open in September. Portelli will handle day-to-day ops for the new restaurant/music venue, which will have about 400 employees. Also, Steve Glum has been named sales/marketing manager for the new outlet. He joins HOB from the Hard Rock Cafe.

Jerome P. Martin has been bumped to VP-G.M. of WTIC-TV Hartford, Conn. Martin, who advances from his general sales manager post, joined the Fox affil in 1993.
