Dolby taps Pinkston VP, exhib relations

Dolby Laboratories has hired Bobby Pinkston as VP of exhibitor relations, the company announced Friday.

He will support the use of Dolby technologies with bookers, buyers and distribution companies as well as define the company’s film product and marketing strategy.

Previously, Pinkston was VP of production and sound with United Artists Theatre Circuit.
