Col TV taps Spector prod’n VP

Jon Spector has been named vice president of production at Columbia TriStar TV, reporting to Ed Lammi, executive VP of production.

Spector has spent several years as a producer on series such as “Something So Right,” “NewsRadio,” “Good Advice,” “Davis Rules” and “The Famous Teddy Z,” among others.

This is his first jump to the executive suite, where he will focus on production of CTT’s comedies, including “The Gregory Hines Show,” “Between Brothers” and “The Tony Danza Show.”
