Columbia TriStar TV has hired two new executives in business affairs. Amy S. Gittelsohn has been named vice president and Charles Smolsky executive director.
Gittelsohn is joining Columbia from Walt Disney TV, where she worked in business affairs since 1994. Smolsky was previously a director of business affairs at New World Entertainment, whose parent company was bought by News Corp. in January. Smolsky also worked as an associate director of business affairs and administration at Gracie Films.
Both executives will report to Sandra Stern, executive VP of business affairs. Both also will handle all business affairs negotiations for pilots, series, TV movies and miniseries.
