HONG KONG — Chinese Television Network, which was taken over by a Taiwanese media conglomerate in March, has finalized its management team, naming Lin Kwok Hang general manager.
Lin comes to the 24-hour satellite network from Taiwan, where he had worked for the China Times Group.
Taiwan-based United Com-munications Group, which is controlled by the powerful Koo family, bought out the network from its founder, Hong Kong tycoon Yu Pin-hoi. At that time, Yen Chen was named chairman of the board.
Other appointments include Lu Pen Chung as controller of the Dadi information and entertainment channel, Linda Lin as chief editor of the Zhong Tian news channel and David Yen as senior VP of marketing.
