Television and film production company Avnet/Kerner has hired Sue Reiner as vice president of TV series development.
The company also announced the promotions of Marsha Oglesby to VP of development and Shari Kimoto to creative executive.
Reiner joined Avnet/Kerner — topped by producer/helmer Jon Avnet and producer Jordan Kerner — from Warner Bros. TV, where she was VP of drama. She previously worked as exec VP of Consolidated Prods.; before that, Reiner served as prexy of Dennis Davidson and Associates.
At Avnet/Kerner, Reiner has been involved in the development of “Dogs,” a one-hour pilot order for ABC.
Oglesby, a six-year vet of the company, previously served as director of creative affairs, where she was involved in the features “The War” and “Up Close and Personal” and produced the Sundance docu “Tie-Died.”
Kimoto has been with Avnet/Kerner for a year and a half, serving as a story editor. In her new role, she will serve as the liaison with lit agents, tracking books and spec scripts.
