Based in Los Angeles, Harrington is charged with acquiring books on behalf of the entire Penguin USA group, with the special focus on projects involving celebrity authors.
“I have known Angela for a long time, and I feel she will bring something to us that will help us acquire books that will stand out on our lists,” said Michael Lynton, chairman and CEO of Penguin Group.
Harrington’s publishing career spans 10 years in Los Angeles as a reporter for Vanity Fair and then as founder-editor in chief of Mouth 2 Mouth magazine (a Time Inc. Ventures title).
