“KTLA Morning News” entertainment reporter Sam Rubin and veteran talk host Stephanie Edwards have been tapped to co-host the live local mid-morning talk strip “LA Live,” skedded to debut at 11 a.m. Jan. 2 on KTLA. Show will blend entertainment, information and issues conversation with L.A.-themed creative segments and features.

CBS Corp. elected two new directors to its board, adding to the 12-member team that presided over the former Westinghouse Electric Corp. Martin C. Dickinson, director of Scripps Bank and chairman of the Scripps Foundation for Medicine & Science; and Jan Leschly, CEO of SmithKline Beecham, are the new members. Dickinson also is a director at Gaylord Entertainment Co., which recently sold its cable networks to CBS.
