Advocates for Youth is accepting entries for the 1997 Nancy Susan Reynolds Awards, which honor outstanding portrayals of family planning, sexuality and reproductive health in TV, film and musicvideos. Eligible entries must have aired between July 1, 1996, and June 30, and entry deadline is today. The Latino Entertainment Media Institute is seeking entries of original works in progress or screenplays for its first LEMI contest in which a Latino filmmaker or writer will win a grant of $7,500, plus $25,000 worth of in-kind filmmaking services.
