Unapix gets 'Good Luck'; 'Proposals' casting; Morgado on board at game co
Unapix Films has acquired North American video and TV rights to “Good Luck,” starring Gregory Hines, Vincent D’Onofrio, James Earl Jones and Max Gail. The film, which was released theatrically in 106 theaters by East West Film Partners on March 9, grossed $40,000 in its first three days. Produced by Richard Hahn, Shirley Honickman Hahn and Andrzej Kamrowski, and directed by Richard LaBrie, “Good Luck” concerns the friendship between a football player blinded by a freak accident and a wheelchair-bound dental technician.

Casting has been set for the world preem of Neil Simon’s “Proposals” at the Ahmanson Theatre. Running July 16 to Aug. 31, with discounted previews beginning July 9, cast includes Kelly Bishop, L. Former Warner Music Group CEO Robert Morgado has been named to the board of directors of L.A. vidgame company Activision. Morgado is chairman of Maroley Media Group, a media entertainment investment company he established in 1995.
