Lisa Kranz has been promoted to executive in charge of production, live action, for Saban Entertainment.
In her new position, Kranz’s duties will include providing input in connection with budget preparation, selection of producers, director, cast and crew, as well as story, script and music for live-action entertainment properties. She will report to executive VP Eric Rollman.
Kranz’s first assignment is the family feature “Ghost Central Station,” starring Steve Guttenberg and Lori Loughlin.
Kranz, who joined the company in 1991, was previously director of development, television and motion pictures. Before that she served as VP of administration and human resources.
Prior to joining Saban, Kranz was a supervisor at Universal Studios Florida during the theme park’s construction and opening phases.
She is a member of the board of directors of American Women in Radio and Television, and serves as first vice president.
