LONDON — Channel 4 film execs Allon Reich and Sara Geater are leaving to join the new production company formed by David Aukin, Colin Leventhal and Trea Hoving in partnership with Miramax Films.
For several years, Reich and Geater have been key members of the Channel 4 film team headed by Aukin and Leventhal.
Reich, currently deputy commissioning editor for Film on Four, will be head of film at the new company, which is still unnamed. He will have creative responsibility for development and production.
Geater has been Channel 4’s drama finance co-production exec for 10 years. She will have physical production responsibilities for the new company, with the title of head of production.
The company will take over Miramax’s U.K. production, co-production, financing and acquisition activities. It is due to launch in January.
