Party is ‘Seven’ heaven

TriStar Pictures and Mandalay gave industryites a chance to scratch their “Seven Years” itch with Monday night’s premiere at the Century City Cineplex Odeon of “Seven Years in Tibet.”

Mingling with the crowd were the director-producer Jean-Jacques Annaud and star Brad Pitt, along with Sony’s John Calley, TriStar’s Chris Lee, and Mandalay’s Peter Guber and John Jacobs. Also repping the picture were exec producers Richard Goodwin and Michael Besman, producer John H. Williams, scripter Becky Johnston, associate producer Alisa Tager and thesps Mako and B.D. Wong.

Spotted in the crowd: Mariah Carey, Joel Schumacher, Matthew McConaughey, Kathy Bates, Larry King, Dermot Mulroney, Minnie Driver, Matthew Modine, and Brian Benben and Madeleine Stowe.

A select coterie then segued to Le Colonial, where they feasted on a buffet of Vietnamese food.
