Lillard signs up for ‘Senseless’

Matthew Lillard, who starred in Dimension Films’ “Scream,” has landed a co-starring role opposite Marlon Wayans in another Dimension feature, “Senseless.”

In the pic, Wayans plays a man who tries to make ends meet by taking part in an experiment that heightens his senses. Things go wrong when he takes a double dose of the drug. Lillard plays his roommate, Tim. The pic is written by Craig Erb and Greg Mazin.

Penelope Spheeris is directing, David Hoberman is producing and Peter Safran is the co-executive producer.

Lillard’s deal was negotiated by Todd Eisner and Chris Schmidt of Writers & Artists, and managers Eric Gold and Julie Wixson.

Spheeris is repped by David Gersh.
