‘Golddiggaz’ scripters ink pic deal with U

Kimberly Greene and Camille Tucker, the duo who scripted the NBA comedy “Golddiggaz” with John Singleton, have inked a deal with Universal Pictures to write, produce and co-direct an upcoming feature. The as-yet-untitled pic will have a budget cap of $6 million. The two were originally expected to direct “Golddiggaz” but then Singleton stepped in to helm. Greene and Tucker are currently at work penning the adaptation of the how-to guide “How to Marry a Black Man” for Whitney Houston’s Touchstone Pictures-based production company. The duo were repped on their deal by Cory Concoff of UTA and attorney Matthew Johnson of Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger.
