Janeane Garofalo will join the cast of Live Entertainment’s “Permanent Midnight,” which begins lensing in Seattle in late July.
Garofalo plays Jana Farmer, the agent of TV writer Jerry Stahl, on whose autobiography the film is based.
She joins previously announced stars Ben Stiller and Elizabeth Hurley in the film, which details Stahl’s descent into heroin addiction.
The film is adapted and directed by David Veloz and produced by Jane Hamsher and Don Murphy.
Garofalo, who most recently appeared in “Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion,” was repped in the deal by manager Dave Rath at Messina Baker and UTA’s David De Camillo.
