Bill Schultz, exec VP at Film Roman and the No. 2 man under prexy and CEO Phil Roman at the animation producer, has resigned his post effective June 30 but will remain with the company part-time as a consultant.
It was unclear Wednesday just why Schultz was leaving or if he has another position lined up. He was unavailable for comment. In a statement, Roman himself thanked Schultz for the contributions he’s made to Film Roman over the past eight years and said he was “delighted that Bill has agreed to stay with us in a consultancy capacity.”
Film Roman animates such shows as “The Simpsons,” “King of the Hill,” “Garfield & Friends,” “The Mask” and “C-Bear and Jamal.”
