Michael Douglas and director Andy Davis are in talks to team on Warner Bros.’ “Perfect Murder” for producers Arnold and Anne Kopelson, sources said. “Perfect Murder” most recently underwent a rewrite by Pat Kelly. It’s loosely based on Hitchcock’s 1954 thriller, “Dial M for Murder,” which starred Ray Milland, Grace Kelly and Robert Cummings.
Douglas is still attached to Paramount Pictures’ “The General’s Daughter” for studio-based production company Neufeld/Rehme. That project, which is out to directors, is about an undercover detective for the military called upon to investigate the rape and murder of the base commander’s daughter. CAA reps both Douglas and Davis.
