Sandra Bullock is asking herself, “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?”

The sultry star sat in on pitch meetings all over town with scribes Kristen Buckley and Brian Reagan and Walt Disney Pictures prexy David Vogel and VP Greg Hoffman with an eye toward starring in a feature based on the hit TV kid show.

Disney ultimately swatted the pitch for around $250,000 against $450,000. But it wasn’t before the studio combined Buckley and Reagan’s pitch with the commitment to a Carmen Sandiego project. Disney had optioned the story on Sandiego more than a year ago.

Sources were reluctant to describe the pitch, but said simply it would include larger than life characters from the semi-cartoon show, which is about a female spy who travels the world.

ICM’s Kristen Jones and Danny Greenberg brokered the deal for the scribes, both of whom live in Gotham.
