Michael Ross has been named senior VP of business affairs at the WB TV Network.
He reports to WB CEO Jamie Kellner, and he’s replacing Craig Hunegs, who has left to handle business affairs at Warner Bros. TV. Ross will oversee all talent, development and license fee negotiations.
Ross was senior veep of business affairs at ABC Prods. from 1990-96. He also worked in that capacity at Weintraub Entertainment from 1987-90.
Just prior to coming to the WB Network, Ross helped found the on-line entertainment company Digital Entertainment Network, with the creators of the innovative Internet service provider Concentric Network.
The WB is the latest in a series of TV companies to change their top biz affairs execs in recent months. UPN, NBC, CBS and Warner Bros. TV have all had turnover in this area since spring.
