Jack Shea will fill out Sheldon Leonard’s term as secretary-treasurer of the Directors Guild of America.
Shea, who had been third vice president of the guild, was selected to fill the post at a DGA national board meeting on Saturday. Leonard, who had been secretary-treasurer since 1973, died earlier this month.
The term runs through June, when the DGA holds its next board and officer elections.
Filling Shea’s post will be John Rich. Meanwhile, Rich’s board seat will be filled by alternates.
