MEXICO CITY — The Travel Channel Latin America has opened an office in Mexico City to handle a growing subscriber base and to promote the channel more widely via marketing and coordinated advertising sales and media coverage.
Raul Antillon has been appointed marketing manager of the new office. Before joining the Travel Channel, he was corporate director of marketing at Megacable for more than four years.
Travel Channel Latin America, a tourism and travel channel, was launched in November 1995 and now ranks among the top 10 networks in Latin America.
The net currently reaches more than 992,000 households in Mexico, for a total of more than 6 million throughout the region.
