Cuba Gooding Jr., who stars in “Jerry Maguire,” has signed with Creative Artists Agency to be repped by Kevin Huvane.

Gooding’s other credits include “Losing Isaiah,” “Outbreak,” “Lightning Jack” and “Judgment Night.” He recently has been considering offers for his next role.

Gooding had been repped most recently by Paradigm, which had repped him at the beginning of his screen career around the time of his first feature role, “Boyz N the Hood.” (1991).

“I think he is a terrific and talented guy, and I wish him the best,” said Sam Gores, who represented him at Paradigm. “But I can’t say I was entirely surprised because, unfortunately, this is a continuing pattern with him. Unfortunately, CAA is the only place he hasn’t been.”

CAA had no comment.

Gooding had been with Paradigm since October 1995. Before that, he was at ICM, which he joined in 1993. He was at William Morris (and earlier Triad) following his first exit from Paradigm.
