William P. Clark has ankled his post as senior vice president and chief financial officer of the Spelling Entertainment Group, the company said Wednesday.
Clark, 43, joined Spelling last November. Spelling president Peter H. Bachmann said in a statement that “Bill has decided his interests lie elsewhere, and together, we determined that this change was best for him and the company.”
“He came from Disney, and he misses the big studio feel,” one source said.
Spelling has no plans to look outside the company for a replacement, sources say. Clark’s duties will, at least in the short term, be handled by James Miller, VP, controller and chief accounting officer, and Ross Landsbaum, Spelling’s VP of finance and tax.
