Cablevision cash flow rises 25% in qtr.

NEW YORK — Cablevision Systems Corp. increased operating cash flow 25.6% to $143.1 million in the second quarter, it said Wednesday, on 12.3% higher revenues of $438.5 million.

Operating cash flow is before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. Cablevision’s net loss after these charges rose 9% to $128.7 million.

Cablevision CEO James Dolan said the revenue growth reflected strength in cable, the Rainbow Media programming division and the Lightpath commercial telephone business.
