Dave Matthews, lead singer of the Dave Matthews Band, has signed with IFA Talent Agency for theatrical representation.
Jamie Foxx has signed with the William Morris Agency for representation in film, TV and music. He will be repped by Michael Gruber, John Fogelman and Spencer Baumgarten. He stars in the WB network sitcom “The Jamie Foxx Show” and has appeared in such films as “The Truth About Cats and Dogs” and “The Great White Hype.” He stars in Col’s “Booty Call” next year opposite Vivica Fox. He had been repped by CAA.
Neil Kreppel and Sheila DiMarco have left Sutton, Barth & Vennari Agency (SBV), and will be merging with David DeLorenzo of the Gilla Roos Agency to form DDK. The new agency will handle theatrical, commercial and print clients. The other agents at the newly formed DDK will be Kate Black in the children’s department and Linda Macadam in the theatrical area.
Winifred Hervey, creator and executive producer of “The Steve Harvey Show,” has signed with Major Clients Agency, to be repped by partner Richard Weston. Hervey created the series “In the House” and was executive producer on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” Hervey had been repped by the agency from 1983-93 before joining CAA.
