RIO DE JANEIRO – The scenario hardly could have been better for the Brazilian premiere of Sylvester Stallone’s “Daylight.” A crowd of more than 500 guests watched a special screening of the movie inside a tunnel in Rio de Janeiro Thursday.
Actioner “Daylight,” set largely inside a tunnel in New York, will open wide in Brazil on Christmas Day.
The special screening in Tunnel Enaldo Cravo Peixoto was sponsored by UIP with the help of Rio’s City Hall. UIP placed seats and a screen inside the tunnel, which is part of soon-to-be inaugurated highway Linha Amarela. The tunnel was available because it is still not open to the traffic.
