Walter Bernstein’s “The Front” will be screened at the Writers Guild of America Theater on Wednesday, followed by a discussion of his current book, “Inside Out: A Memoir of the Blacklist.”

Abraham Polonsky, himself a once-blacklisted screenwriter, will moderate.

The event is hosted by the Writers Guild of America, Pen Center USA West and Knopf Publishers.

The screening will start at 7 p.m. at 135 S. Doheny Drive in Beverly Hills. The event is free and open to the public. For reservations, call (310) 582-8810.
