Westinghouse moved a top manager to a new No. 2 slot at the CBS Television Station Group, where he’ll oversee eight of 15 outlets at the newly merged group.
Anthony J. Vinciquerra was named exec VP of the stations division, from VP-general manager of Westinghouse’s KYW in Philadelphia.
He’ll oversee day-to-day operations at smaller-market affiliates, and report to Jonathan Klein, who earlier this week was named president of the combined station group, from head of Westinghouse’s stations.
In addition to KPIX San Francisco and KDKA Pittsburgh, which had been Westinghouse outlets, Vinciquerra will supervise KCNC Denver and KUTV Salt Lake City, formerly part of the Group W/CBS joint venture, as well as four CBS-owned stations: WWJ Detroit, WFRV Green Bay, Wis., WCCO Minneapolis and WPRI Providence, R.I.
Klein will be responsible for O& Os in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Miami, Baltimore and Philadelphia, with “support” from Vinciquerra.
