The United Paramount Network has ordered two more drama series from Universal TV and Paramount Network TV as it moves toward launching a third night of programming in March.

UPN has given 13-episode pickups to “Swift Justice,” a tentatively titled single-lead series about a former cop turned vigilante from producer Dick Wolf (“Law & Order”) and Universal; and Paramount’s “The Sentinel,” centering on a Seattle cop with strange, unexplained powers, from exec producers Danny Bilson & Paul DeMeo, whose credits include “Viper” and “The Flash.”

The netlet has also extended back-nine orders to two of its three new series, Disney’s “Nowhere Man” and Rysher’s “Live Shot.” The jury remains out on the remaining newcomer, Viacom’s “Deadly Games,” while UPN’s anchor show “Star Trek: Voyager” began the year with a full-season commitment.
