HBO’s director’s scream dream series “Tales From the Crypt” is planning to bring Humphrey Bogart back from the dead for its final episode. Robert Zemeckis, one of the show’s executive producers, along with a whole A list of directors, is putting the Bogey “Crypt” episode together using the same techniques he employed in his hit movie “Forrest Gump,” which let the film’s star Tom Hanks commune on screen with John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon. “It’s a very expensive process to pull off,” says an HBO insider. “But I think we will be able to make it work.”
However, what Zemeckis may not be able to work out is a green light from the late great actor’s estate.
