KEVIN JOHN GEE

Kevin John Gee, an actor and casting assistant, died Aug. 3 in New York City of pneumonia. He was 40.

Gee appeared as Ito, the mysterious valet, on the daytime drama “Another World” for the past three years.

In the theater, he was featured in a Broadway production of “Anything Goes” and an Off Broadway production of “Hot Keys.” He also had the recurring role of an Asian interpreter on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.”

Gee also worked for eight years as a casting assistant for the talent manager Jandin Wong, and was known for his work with Asian-American actors.

He is survived by his mother and a sister.
