David Barison, an agent with New York-based Lionel Lamer Ltd. in New York, died Jan. 1 of complications from AIDS at Overlook Hospital in Summit, N.J. He was 30.
After graduating from Skidmore College, he worked for both the Gersh Agency and Abrahms Artists in New York before joining Lionel Larner Ltd. in 1988. Within a year of joining Larner, he was promoted to a full agent and worked with clients in all facets of the entertainment industry.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Gail Barison of Springfield, N.J., as well as a sister, brother and grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to American Foundation for AIDS Research.
