Barbara Manuell

Barbara Manuell, an actress, teacher and board member of the Illinois Theatre Center, died of cancer Feb. 12 in Park Forrest, Ill. She was 58.

She starred in numerous South Chicago productions including “Mother Courage and Her Children,” “Picnic” and “Arsenic and Old Lace,” and played several roles at the Illinois Theatre Center’s Summer Shakespeare Festival.

She is survived by her mother, Whilhelmine; her daughter, Lynn, production coordinator of “Shirley MacLaine Live!” in Europe; and two sisters.
