JACK KANNE, who has served for two years as senior VP of sales, has been promoted to executive VP of sales and marketing for Paramount Home Video, changing the internal reporting structure in the division.
Kanne, who becomes the senior domestic homevideo executive, will report to Eric Doctorow, president of worldwide video.
In the new position, Kanne will take over some responsibilities once held by Doctorow, who was elevated last summer to oversee both domestic and international homevideo.
Reporting to Kanne will be the homevid advertising, marketing and sales divisions, in addition to the multimedia arm and its executive director, Jeff Radoycis.
Cinamerica Theatres has promoted DENISE GURIN to vice president, film, and BRUCE COLEMAN to vice president, purchasing and theater development. Cinamerica is the parent company of Mann Theatres and Festival Cinemas.
Hollywood Digital has upped two execs. BELINDA MERRFTT is now heading up the company’s commercial division as executive producer. GARY CLARK is now VP of operations for the post-production house.
CAROL MILLS has joined Jim Henson Prods. as director of design services. Based in New York, she’ll be responsible for the design and production of the consumer products division. She previously was a founding partner in Mills/Montgomery Inc. and Mills Associates.
