BARBARA LANGDON has been upped to veepee of East Coast publicity for the Samuel Goldwyn Co.
Langdon will continue to handle East Coast press for all feature films, including Oscar-nominated “The Madness of King George” and “The Sum of Us,” “The Last Good Time,” “The Perez Family” and “Wig-stock.”
FRANK LOMENTO has been named VP of national publicity for MGM/UA Distribution Co., one month after ankling a similar post at Savoy Pictures.
Lomento will share national publicity duties for MGM and United Artists films with Amanda Marashinsky, who holds the same job title. Lomento reports to Terry Curtin, senior VP of worldwide publicity and field promotions.
MELISSA ROOKER has been named director of development at Clint Eastwood’s Warner Bros.-based Malpaso Prods. She was hired in 1990 as an assistant to Eastwood.
