Di Clemente Named Prez Of Italo Pic Org

Producer-distributor Giovanni Di Clemente has been named president of Italy’s National Film Distributors Assn., replacing Warner Bros. Italia chief Paolo Ferrari, who quit after a two years.

Ferrari’s resignation follows a decision by Warner and other local arms of the U.S. majors to withdraw from the association as of Dec. 31.

He has been active in the Italian film biz since the late 70s.
