Brits Take New Stand

Ten U.K. companies have banded together to take a stand at NATPE for the first time.

The British Pavilion will house Channel 4 Intl., Chrysalis, Highpoint, Hit Entertainment, J&M Entertainment, NBD TV, Pavilion Intl., RPTA/Primetime, RM Associates and S4C. These companies have not exhibited at NATPE, although many have attended to walk the floor.

The British Pavilion will join the red London double-decker bus that traditionally houses the ITV distribution companies.

Channel 4 sales chief Frances Berwick says, “If you go to NATPE without a stand, that’s fine to see the people you already know, the Americans and the Europeans, but you don’t actually meet the South Americans that way.”
