‘Travels’ to end Oct.1

“Travels With My Aunt,” Graham Greene’s Off Broadway hit, will close Oct. 1 at the Minetta Lane Theater after seven previews and 199 performances.

The Bill Kenwright production, adapted and directed by Giles Havergal, won a New York Drama Desk award for unique theatrical experience and an Outer Critics Circle award for outstanding ensemble after opening April 12. Although popular with Off Broadway audiences, the comedy, in which four men play a variety of male and female roles, couldn’t match its Olivier Award-winning two-year run on London’s West End.

Production currently stars Larry Linville, Brian Murray, Martin Rayner and Tom Beckett.
