The ninth annual Easter Bonnet Competition on April 11 raised $1,112,639 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and the winning company was “Sunset Boulevard,” which brought in $200,000. Actually, that gross was inflated – no kidding: The real take was $147,235, but Glenn Close announced that the Really Useful Co. had a greed to chip in enough to make it an even two hundred.
