THE BEL-AIR HOTEL STARS in Gwen Davis’ novel “The Magic Hotel,” which she also screenplayed. The hotel also stars in a book (with pix), “Happy at the Bel-Air Hotel,” about a Yorkshire terrier who goes to the Bel-Air to — heal a broken heart! The hotel was also the setting for the wedding of Davis’ daughter, Madeleine Mitchell, to Jason Talsky. WHILE “THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY” heads for the bigscreen under Steven Spielberg’s Amblin aegis, Ben Kingsley, Isabella Rossellini, Bruce Boxleitner, Melissa Gilbert and Curtis Mayfield were signed by Dove Audio to record the Robert James Waller bestseller. Deborah Raffin, Dove co-founder (with husband Michael Viner), directs the audio.
