Fox’s basic cable network F/X has set up shop in New York City with a production facility and sales offices at 212 Fifth Avenue. F/X, which is set to launch June 1, will produce all of its programing out of New York while keeping its corporate headquarters in Los Angeles.
So far, F/X has affiliation agreements with 23 cable operators that reach 40% of U.S. cable TV households.

People for the American Way has urged ABC to air an upcoming “Roseanne” episode that explores lesbian themes, as has the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. Network officials indicated last week that they believe the episode will air.

CBS will air a special primetime episode of daytime’s top-rated drama, “The Young and the Restless,” at 10 p.m. March 3. The primetime Thursday airing will pick up where that day’s installment left off and continue Friday afternoon.
