ABC Entertainment prexy Ted Harbert will be the featured speaker at the Caucus for Producers, Writers & Directors’ first general membership meeting Jan. 12 at Chasen’s.

Frito-Lay Inc., which two years ago sponsored Fox Broadcasting Co.’s “In Living Color” live Super Bowl counterprogramming, will be a sponsor of this year’s Super Bowl. The company will air spots featuring Chevy Chase. Fox has opted not to stunt counterprogram the halftime of Super Bowl XXVIII, which airs Jan. 30.

PBS’ “Behind the Scenes With Robert Gil de Montes” has been awarded the 20th Japan Prize, an international award for educational TV programs. The series is a co-production of the Learning Designs and WNET in New York.
