NBC confirmed that it will use its Jan. 30 telecast of Super Bowl XXVIII to boost exposure for two ailing Tuesday comedies, “The Good Life” and “The John Larroquette Show,” with postgame airings as part of a Super Bowl “After Party.”

Allied Communications Inc., marketer of syndicated off-net telepix, has grabbed the off-cable rights to Showtime’s half-hour “Super Dave” series. Allied will market a weekly all-barter, hour version of the program for fall.
