Eye sees ‘Traps’ at 10

CBS has scheduled the George C. Scott drama “Traps” for 10 p.m. Thursdays starting March 31.

The show, about homicide detectives, comes from Stephen J. Cannell Prods. and co-stars Dan Cortese and Bill Nunn. CBS has a vacancy in the hour because the soap “Second Chances” was knocked out of production by the Northridge earthquake. The web is hopeful the hour can cash in on promotion from the NCAA basketball tournament, which begins March 17.
