Frances Guenette

Frances Guenette, co-founder and vice president of Robert Guenette Prods. and a longtime associate at CBS News in New York, died Monday in Beverly Hills of cancer. She was 59.

Among the shows on which she worked at CBS as a researcher and associate producer were “Conquest,””Odyssey,””Monsters,””Mysteries” and “Eye on the World.”

Guenette became a principal in Guenette-Asselin Prods. in Los Angeles and later joined her husband in establishing Robert Guenette Prods. They developed and produced the CBS movie “Children of the Night” and “Extra Dimension” for Group W.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; a son, Mark; and her mother, Syvta Gudemann.

Serviceswill be held at 2 p.m. today at Mount Sinai in L.A.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Metropolitan Opera National Auditions, Western Region, or the Zachary Society Opera Auditions.
