The Producers Entertainment Group has formed a development and packaging partnership with the personal management firm headed by veteran talent managers Roy Silver and Peter Golden.
The deal will focus on developing telepix and series to be produced as joint ventures between the two companies, Harvey Bibicoff, chairman of Producers Entertainment, said Wednesday.
Bibicoff said the production partnership with Gold and Silver Management will not include personal management — an area in which Producers Entertainment is already established through its wholly owned subsidiary Krost/Chapin Management.
Under terms of the agreement, Gold and Silver Management will be based at Producers Entertainment offices in Beverly Hills.
Formed 10 months ago, Gold and Silver sports such clients as Lisa Amsterdam, magician Chris Broughton, Jeff Garcia, Linda Martinez, director Alan Metter, Rick Najera, screenwriter Bill Taub and Kevin West. Company partner Silver has a long list of credits as a record, stage, film and television producer, while Golden is a longtime personal manager and producer.
