Exec Shuffle

Sheri Singer has joined Lifetime cable network as VP, longform programming. Lifetime has been seeking to expand its original programming slate with more dramatic and news/talk programing.

Singer, who won two Emmy Awards as producer for “Donahue,” will be based in Los Angeles.

Richard Licata, HBO VP of media relations, West Coast, is exiting the pay-cabler after 13 1/2 years. His plans are not known.

Cathryn Green was upped to VP, international business development, Showtime Networks Inc. She will evaluate new business and seek international alliances in TV.

Former Lorimar exec Marcia Zwilling has joined Mediamark — a multimedia advertising, marketing and production company — as VP of development. Zwilling held a similar post at the Arthur Co. preceded by a stint as VP of current programming at Lorimar. Lake Arrowhead-based Mediamark recently contracted with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to handle satellite broadcasts after the Northridge earthquake and will also cover portions of soccer’s World Cup this summer.
