Although handlers for singer Michael Jackson would like the public to forget about the sexual molestation allegations aimed at the pop star, Jackson’s sister LaToya will again fuel the acrimonious fires with a pair of television appearances.
LaToya takes on her parents during today’s airing of “Geraldo,” blaming them for her brother’s peccadillos, and later on “Inside Edition” she says Michael is capable of child abuse.
“I blame my parents more than anything, because of the way we were raised,” LaToya said. “(My parents) wanted everybody to think that the Jackson family is one of these perfect, happy and loving families, which is very untrue.”
When asked if she believed her brother had ever molested young boys, she replied, “Deep down in my heart, I have to tell you yes. He’s capable of doing that. I’ve seen lots of things.”
LaToya also alleges that the boy, now 14, who claims Michael molested him will receive $ 50 million under the terms of the recent civil lawsuit settlement.
“From my understanding,” LaToya said, “the little boy gets $ 5 million every year for the next 10 years.”
LaToya’s parents, Katherine and Joe, were asked to appear on “Geraldo” with their daughter but declined. They will, however, respond to LaToya’s allegations when they appear on Monday’s airing of “Geraldo,” which will be taped at the Jackson home in Encino on Saturday.
